The personnel wasn't able to speak Dutch nor English so it required some gestures to make clear that I was lactose-intolerant. Unfortunately, we still got offered dishes that obviously contained milk. If you're used to get a menu and be able to choose your dishes, you will be greatly disappointed. You only get to choose your drink and accept the dishes that you'll be offered during your stay. Perhaps some guests do appreciate this way of wine and dine, it was not my cup of tea. On top of that the seating influences the speed of serving, sitting at the bar definitely improves the quality of service The dishes were salty and sodden and didn't give the impression that they were freshly cooked. This opinion got confirmed after we checked the place the food came from: A big mass-produced storage of dishes stalled in a vitrine that ensured that the dishes were constantly heated. A great disappointment it has been.. GooglePlace - June 2017

I spent my formative years in Andalusia. This Malagueno has got it. It was like being back in Spain. Sure, he's hyper. He's even a little crazy. But he's got it: the real years of Spain. Go there, you'll see, you'll taste, you'll hear. GooglePlace - June 2016

Food not freshly prepared, gave us tapas we did not order (charged us for it), asked for the bill and got hassled for leaving so early. Then brought me something fried after that was absolutely not edible, could not get the taste out of my mouth until we ate somewhere much better. GooglePlace - May 2016

The waiter was almost drunk and didn't speak any english. The place was small and noisy. Instead on a menu, we only had the "option" of "un pochito de todo", which concretely meant 4-5 small tapas and 2 glasses of red house wine. After being ignored for 30 minutes (having asked for bread and water) we decided to leave and got the bill: 40 euros. Avoid this place unless starving and unable to walk 10 minutes towards Westerkerk and find a decent restaurant! GooglePlace - April 2016
