Excuisite, well combined dishes and very friendly unpretentious service. Personally, I didn't like the dark, sort of stylish but not so stylish atmosphere. But the place is a hidden gem, in a quiet backyard, right in the middle of the redlight district. GooglePlace - October 2017

This place used to be my go to whenever I stopped in Amsterdam. The food was great, the wine selection succulent and the service courteous. During my last trip on September 29th, friends and I went...how disappointing. What happened to my favourite place in Amsterdam. The 5 course meal would have left my 2 year old still hungry (it was tasty though) since the portions were ridiculously small, the service was horrible (had to remind the waiter 4 times to bring us water, would not refill our wine glasses, food took forever to arrive and the other waitress could not remember what was in our plate when she was bringing them to the table). I will unlikely go back there myself but do give it a shot, maybe it was an off day. GooglePlace - October 2017

An quiet oasis in a middle of Red Light district. Not cheap but in our opinion was worth the money. Nice friendly service. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented. Would visit again. GooglePlace - September 2017

Visited here with four friends on a recent trip to Amsterdam, and we had a four course dinner for €52 each. Each of the courses was good whilst not spectacular as one might expect for the price; the main course of cod was particularly underwhelming. There was a wine pairing with each of the dishes but we only got through two of the bottles, which was a relief when we got to the bill as they were €40 euros a piece. The service was efficient and friendly, the setting and decor very cool being tucked away in the red light district, I just feel the food didn't quite match up to the price. Seven of us ate four courses at Wilde Zwijnen the day after for less than the cost of the bill here, and we all thought the food was better. I would visit again to give it another go, however. Located in the red light district, but you wouldn't think it. It's hidden in a private garden that isolates you from the bustle of the streets. I took the 4 course with wine pairings and it was more than enough. All dishes were very good to great, but without any of them being incredible. Wine pairings were all white and all on point, and service was quite good. Would definitely recommend this place for a quiet, delicious break from the Amsterdam madness. GooglePlace - May 2017
