An experience for the pallet We went for lunch, which they build up flavor wise, so that each plate beautifully adds to the the one before GooglePlace - November 2017

Good combination of flavours and Michelin star worthy presentation and wine pairings. Service was patchier than I'd like for the price, and the dishes themselves only elevated themselves to stellar once, with a deconstructed sushi hake roulade. The dishes mostly riffed of 'classics with a twist', but the twist was more often than not a pretty deconstruction that did not add a lot past the interesting aesthetic. GooglePlace - September 2017

The presentation of the food is center stage here. We did the Menu De Chef and were very full. I recommend that you allow for 2-3 hours. GooglePlace - August 2017

We had the 5 course chef menu. We Did not receive the Michelin star service we have come to expect. The food was good... but was disappointed that they served US beef, the worst source if you want to avoid hormones and beef that feeds on other animals. Yuk. GooglePlace - August 2017

Ate 4-course meal with former-colleague-now-old-friend fellow whom I had not seen in almost 20 years, and Bridges restaurant was perfect for the occasion for several reasons. Exterior and interior are elegant and the place is in Amsterdam not far from central rail station. Valet parked our vehicle because there is no lot. My friend reserved the dinner and it seemed that reservation was either required or highly recommended; we entered at 18:30 Saturday when tables were vacant and left as the place was full of patrons a few hours later. Greet staff and wait staff were super friendly and attractive, and knew all aspects of the menu well, able to answer all questions about the meal ingredients, origin, etc. No tie and jacket required but elegant attire and demeanor are highly recommended, i.e. short sleeves and old sport shoes would probably be inappropriate. Bridges is ideal location for couples dining. I would suggest eating at Bridges with half-full tummy yet empty palette because all dishes we ordered were petite and subtly flavored. Champagne blended with passion fruit was an exotic and tasty introduction to the remainder of a long dining experience. The ambience was never loud and lighting was good throughout the dinner. Elegant and modern Dutch dining not not ideal for a backpacker budget. GooglePlace - June 2017
