Proeflokaal met eigen stoombierbrouwerij in het historische centrum van Amsterdam. Een mooi en ruim proeflokaal met een grote diversiteit aan speciaalbieren. Uiteraard ook van eigen brouwerij zoals 1450 Kloosterpils, Witte Antonia, De Blonde Barbier, De Manke Monnik, De Gewaeghde Bock en nog enkele andere seizoenbieren. Generally a nice bar with a fabulous beer selection of which some are brewed in house. The meal options are not bad, a little over priced and typical of local fair. Toilets were unclean on this visit on this visit. I have lowered my star rating due to the fact that if you wish to pay by card there is a 5% surcharge which as of the January 2018 is now illegal under EU law! (so if they try this with you decline the charge and refer them to the fact it is now illegal to charge for using a debit or credit card) GooglePlace - March 2018

Really nice craft beer bar, with their own brewery, they had flight/sampler specials. 4 awesome beers and some amazing bottled selections from other breweries. Service was a little slow but worth the wait GooglePlace - February 2018

Frosty reception and bad customer service, even by Dutch standards. Shouted at by a member of staff for walking in with an empty takeaway coffee cup. I’m a local and frequented this place a few times for guests. The beer is average and you can do better. Based on my last very experience (and safe to say I’ll never return), it has to be the worst customer service I’ve had period. GooglePlace - January 2018

Best ribs I have ever had outside of Memphis. Great beers on top of that. After 6 months of getting used to normal Dutch food this place sent me right back to the intense flavors of my favorite Southern restaurants in the US. GooglePlace - December 2017
