The smallest restaurant in Amsterdam, in an old canal style interior, will bring you a culinair adventure. Roberto and Yvonne, the owners, serve french cuisine meals with a big smile. Their fantastic wine menu, with specials from Bordeaux, Bourgogne and German Riesling, is unique in the Netherlands. Roberto, a former sommelier and now the chef, has wines from years before you were born. All dishes are made with honest and fresh ingredients. All the desserts are home made. Fresh lobster is always available. I can recommend the Coquilles St Jacques with mash potatoes and truffles sauce. The real french bread will clean up your plate till the last drop of sauce. Try the lamb or ribeye or the market stock of the day. If you can order upfront ask for the Poulet de Bresse menu.
