Awesome meal with friendly staff. The ostrich was great as was the Boeuf Bourguignon and we had local beers. Nice Italian red wine special going while we there (it was a Barolo). Casual but very well executed. GooglePlace - December 2017

Very tasty food and super friendly service. The ostrich and the lemon-panacotta were amazing! GooglePlace - November 2017

The ambiance is nice, cozzy, located in the basement while you can still see the people and cyclists come by. Meanwhile the first course was nothing out of the ordinairy, it was clear the pork-belly was heated and not homemade. Think the curcumber was self sliced. The carpaccio had been frozen aswell. We had the ostridge-steak as a main, not great, not great at all. Poor animal had to die for this bad cooking. The hole dish was thrown together, the potatoes and green weren't seasoned. Oh and the service was bad. GooglePlace - October 2017

As far as bang for your buck, you'd be hard pressed to find a better dinner in Amsterdam. This place is not luxury, but it has a nice basement restaurant ambiance. It's a very small restaurant with a very small kitchen, but they outpunch their weight class with the quality of their food. The three course dinner was around 27 or 28 euros, which is incredible for the quality of food. Highly recommend. GooglePlace - May 2017
