Guts & Glory is the first restaurant of Freek van Noortwijk (chef), Guillaume de Beer (chef) and Johanneke van Iwaarden (sommelier). Every three months the style of the restaurant changes. Currently we are cooking a menu with only Classic French food including the wine pairings.

A MUST TRY in Amsterdam. Just finished an amazing 7 course dinner here. Was amazing. We visited during Chapter 10 "Spain" inspired dishes. If you aren't sure what I'm talking about - the restaurant changes their menu every 3 months or so (they call the new menus "chapters") and create a new menu inspired by a new country. The service was excellent, every course was just as special as the next and the dining environment is causal but the food is anything but casual. A truly awesome experience where the creativity of the chef is highlighted in every dish. If you're in Amsterdam, I highly recommend you make a reservation (at least a week or two in advance). Wow! I've already recommended this place to a Dutch colleague of mine. Whilst not every dish was as good as the other the service was absolutely fantastic. I definitely think they need to invest in proper wine pairing with their dishes. This would make the experience of great food even better. Overall really enjoyed the experience. Great value.
