This was a unique and interesting alternative in the Netherlands; where they take pride in their pancakes. Try the Negiyaki-style (bed of chopped spring onions) Butatama (Bacon, mushroom and cheese).Foursquare - June 2017
Really nice okonomiyaki, big portions, nice ambience. Reservation needed! Owner very nice and chatty :) you can pay by cash. A little bit pricey, but it was worth it. We loved it!GooglePlace - March 2017
Service is great. Not many places in Amsterdam offer such well-focused service. Have been there three times and each time was superb with different waiters.
The food is top notch also. The Okonomiyaki is great.
Only Japanese food I've had outside of Japan that lives up to its standard.
Please give it a try despite the interior design of the restaurant. That might throw you off but don't let it!

“A different and nice option to try.”
I have to clarify that is not an incredibly original savoury place. It's a great place to have lunch and get a different mix of ingredients than a broodje or poached eggs.
The service was truly nice! Seat in the kitchen bar in order to see the cooking process.GooglePlace - February 2017
The pancakes - love them !!Foursquare - June 2016
Definitely try the Osaka style, the de lux was exceptional - you'll need half of one to a full one per person depending on how hungry you are!Foursquare - March 2016
