Mr Tong’s was founded back in 1948 by the great uncle of the current owner. It’s a proud family tradition for over 60 years now. We have turned into a new path to culinary grooviness. Our restaurant surprises people. The first-time visitor may be pleasantly surprised by our devotion to attentiveness — and by the delightful collision of authenticity and adventure that is our kitchen. Our palette is pan-Asian, drawing from Szechuan, Cantonese, Thai and Indonesian influences. Our art is to take the delicate elements of taste, and combine them with love. If we can do that, then we’re making the world a slightly better place. There’s mix of quirky characters who keep our place buzzing, and they’ll all work real hard to keep you happy — including your host, Mr Wai Wong. Good food, caring service, fair prices, in a good location. You deserve it. We believe in it.

Truly nice people who need a lot of help. Our service was slow and they started off wrong on our order. I wouldn't say the food was great but they have a stir fry special for 5 Euros. Don't go here if you are starving. GooglePlace - June 2017

The overall experience was pretty mediocre. Depending on how you see it, the staff weren't horrible (there seems to be only 2 ppl working there). But there is this lady that works there and she was a bit... In your face. However, I'm certain she has good intentions. The food was meh. I ordered the chicken with black bean sauce and I've had food court meals better than that. The flavour wasn't horrible, but the texture of the chicken was off putting! I don't believe chicken is suppose to be crunchy!! My bf ordered the pecking duck and at first it seemed okay, but as he made his way through, he soon realized the rest was basically inedible. They have a nice outdoor area I'll give them that. I think the vegetarian stuff might be your best bet if you decide to order from here! GooglePlace - May 2017

Worst experience ever.. As a Chinese, I have to say that the noodles and fried rice served there taste kind of terrible..(for the noodles it didn't mention that it's also fried, while we were actually expecting noodles with soup, but that's not a big problem) What's more, it seems that there's always lack of waitresses, cuz we always saw that customers who have just arrived can't find the servers. Another thing that is kind of annoying, is that after the check, we had waited a long period of time for the change, (asked the waitress twice) and finally got it back by requesting directly to the boss at the counter, which made us doubt that they wanted to keep the change without telling us GooglePlace - April 2017
