The pancakes were delicious! The place is very tiny so it would be best to make a reservation. The prices were ok, it's worth it especially because of the location too The service was decent. GooglePlace - November 2017

I've been living in Amsterdam for 10 years and I came here because of the rave reviews on the Internet. Locals do not go here. This is a tourist trap. The pancakes were not that tasty and the staff was very eager to send us away the moment we put our cutlery down. They just shoved the check to our faces. We did not even manage to finish our drinks and my brother burned his tongue while trying to drink the hot tea. Very bad service. GooglePlace - November 2017

INSIST ON LEAVING YOUR NAME!!! We tried to eat here but failed spectacularly. Went just after 3 this afternoon and there was one empty table for 4 but we were only 2 so fairly enough were told to come back at 4pm. The host wrote 2 on his list and then turned his back and started doing something else. So we arrived back at 4:02 and spoke with the same host. He looked at his list and asked our name - I said he had told us to come back at 4 and hadn't asked our name. He just shrugged and told us he didn't have any tables - didn't offer to take our name to come back - didn't make any effort at all. Then to make matters worse the chef starts yelling at us. It would also have been a simple thing to offer to take our name when we came back the second time - we would have happily done that. But instead we got a shrug and an unpleasant episode of about blame. We just wanted to eat here and had anyone made the effort to be pleasant that’s how it would have been. Just a bit of incompetent service. GooglePlace - October 2017

Amazing interior. The Pankaces are nice though nothing extraordinary. The staff was nice. Definitely book a table in advance. Would come again mainly because of the unique design. GooglePlace - October 2017

Soooo Delicious!! It was my first stop right off the plane for a late breakfast and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend making reservations because there are a limited number of tables. Also, good physical health is important because the steps to enter the restaurant are steeper than the Pyramids in Mexico and probably at a 60 degree angle. Very similar to climbing a ladder, but added to the charm of being in Amsterdam. GooglePlace - September 2017
