Lovely cafe near the Rembrandt house. Lovely canal side tables and makes a decent coffee. Didn't come here for a beer as it was too early, but still a great place to relax, GooglePlace - April 2017

Dutch breakfast was good but I had better pancakes in Amsterdam. It is cozy though to get a cup of coffee GooglePlace - March 2017

Had a great time here! I was looking for a place to eat before checking into my room, and had a big breakfast and some coffee. It's not some magical food or anything, but it hits the spot and was well worth the 17 euro total. Also the staff was just very nice! GooglePlace - February 2017

I had the meal of the day, which was Ribeye in some kind of sauce, with mashed potatoes and salad on the side. This dish was very poor: the mashed potatoes were clearly from the package, the meat was okay, but again, the sauce it was cooked in tasted like the ones you buy in the supermarket. Not worth the money. Food is priced very reasonably/below average for touristy Amsterdam, but you literally get what you pay for, so think twice. You guys could try to exceed yourselves, down there at the kitchen! Decent selection of speciaal bier. Seemed slightly overpriced, but OK. The staff was laid back and nice, but forgot to ask if everything was good, it's often just a courtesy question but it always shows that you care. Thumbs up for being able to mange our group of 11 people and making it easier to pay separately. Overall is okay, but I do not recommend, as you will not be impressed with anything. If you just want to eat and don't care, then there's nothing you can be disappointed of, go there and save some money. GooglePlace - January 2017

We visited Rembrandt Corner in the first week of November 2016. It was a cold and wet day, so after wandering through Rembrandt's House we wanted a quick but warming lunch. I ordered the soup of the day which was a mustard soup, and it was soooooo good! I have never had it before but will try very hard to recreate it at home. My husband ordered the pea and sausage soup which was thick and tasty. He really enjoyed it. The server was friendly and even went and talked to the chef about the soup to answer a few of my questions. Upon leaving, the owner volunteered to call us a cab, and was very kind and helpful. We will be returning on our annual trip to Amsterdam. Great place for a simple, yet tasty meal. GooglePlace - November 2016
