Description

Jump on the boat from Bergen, brilliant views. This restaurant is superb. Incredible service, incredible food. Exquisite view. Takes you on a tour to the wine cellar. Wow. Go here and have the time of your life! GooglePlace - August 2017

Far too expensive for what it is. The food is good, but not enough to warrant the prices. Since you have to take a boat to get there and everyone arrives at the same time, it always feels like you are waiting to be served. Wine pairings were served 20+ minutes before the dish. Also you are stuck there for four hours in a room with bright lights and no music. On the up side, service was friendly and the views would be lovely in good weather. GooglePlace - August 2017

Seems way overpriced and overrated, with comparable meals in Bergen at half the cost when considering they charge you for the boat ride. The "lecture " was from the owner and mostly his story of failures that finally led to this successful restaurant that now does 24,000 guests a year-do the math, he doesn't need to charge for the lecture or for the sample shellfish he provides. It's a bit convoluted in that half the crowd is doing the 6 course meal, the others the 3 course meal so pacing them over the 4 hours you're there is too long for the 3 course folks. Unique experience with the boat ride, beautiful setting, but the food and service times a bit wanting for the money spent. GooglePlace - July 2017

Fantastic place. You have to take a boat to get here. But it's a really amazing experience. Not sure about prices though. The people working there were very warm and welcoming. When you leave the place, they line up at the dock to wave goodbye. GooglePlace - June 2017
