Seems way overpriced and overrated, with comparable meals in Bergen at half the cost when considering they charge you for the boat ride. The "lecture " was from the owner and mostly his story of failures that finally led to this successful restaurant that now does 24,000 guests a year-do the math, he doesn't need to charge for the lecture or for the sample shellfish he provides. It's a bit convoluted in that half the crowd is doing the 6 course meal, the others the 3 course meal so pacing them over the 4 hours you're there is too long for the 3 course folks. Unique experience with the boat ride, beautiful setting, but the food and service times a bit wanting for the money spent. GooglePlace - July 2017

Wonderful place by the ocean, highly recommended if you're lokking for high class seafood restaurant. GooglePlace - July 2017

The food was good, but the whole experience is overly priced. You can find just as good food elsewhere for at least 1/4 of the price. They don't have a menu for alcohol, and they tried to charge me 1000nok more for a bottle than what the waitress originally told me it would be. Terrible service. GooglePlace - June 2017

Fantastic place. You have to take a boat to get here. But it's a really amazing experience. Not sure about prices though. The people working there were very warm and welcoming. When you leave the place, they line up at the dock to wave goodbye. GooglePlace - June 2017

We were recommended to visit Cornelius by some friends and it didn't disappoint. We went for dinner in late November so didn't quite get the views but the boat ride was fantastic. Our waitress Erin was great and even gave us a tour of the wine cellar and a sample of a local spirit. All the food was amazing! GooglePlace - November 2016
