Nice selection of 'fresh' seafood here. It really is somewhat of a tourist attraction than anything else. Of course you get the convenience of picking your desired seafood and having it there and then. Most tourists will want to try the whale meat here, as well as some shellfish. There's also some seasonal fruits available. GooglePlace - July 2017

The food was awesome. The vendor took his time to explain all of the offerings and helped us select a little of everything. King crab is excellent, shrimp and fish skewers are good, too. The potato salad, of all things, is amazing. GooglePlace - July 2017

We were here during a sunny few days in July and this was an amazing place to eat and hang out. Great seafood prepared right in front of you. Relatively reasonable prices. Fun people watching. All round good time. GooglePlace - June 2017

Fun to see once, but quite small. The prices here are higher than the grocery stores around. It is nice that you can taste different things here for free most of the time. The people who sell the fish don't come from Norway most of the time and you seen that in their sale techniques. Norwegian retailers are quite silent and won't pressure you into buying certain stuff, but the people here will try to pressure you in buying their wares. GooglePlace - June 2017

We walked from the hotel while passing the city and arrived at the morning fish market. Local produce - fresh catch, fruits, clothes and what not, its a shopping galore. Everything looked amazing,. After going from one stall to the other, we also window shopped at the retails outlets across the road. No shopping for us though. GooglePlace - June 2017
