Wow what a lovely find, we found this place by accident, it's delightful, beautiful location, overlooking a lake with fountains. Nice food, bike parking. The berlin wall ran right through the park which was interesting. GooglePlace - October 2017

Definitely one of the best romantic lakeside bars with candlelight in Berlin at very reasonable prices (alcoholic drinks starting at 6€) But only very skimpy food offerings. This calls for immediate improvement (hence only 4 points notch up). GooglePlace - September 2017

Lovely location, very nice to visit on a sunny day to sit by the water, fast and friendly service with good food and drink options GooglePlace - August 2017

Cafe am Engelbecken is a peaceful oasis in the middle of noisy Kreuzberg, right by the pond Engelbecken. It offers coffee and a cafe style food menu, that can be enjoyed on the lovely terrace with the amazing view of the water, the ducks, swans and turtles inside and the lovely park behind it. It has a cozy space inside for the rainy days, and in the winter the pond freezes and you can do ice skating there! But summer nights on the terrace, with a cocktail and the reflection of the moon in the water, is all we need right now. GooglePlace - August 2017

Pleasant, quiet and with a beautiful view. Fresh and affordable beer. As a bonus, you're sitting in a place that was literally paved over before 1990, under a Berlin Wall "death strip". GooglePlace - July 2017
