Chicha refers to the cultural movement of 1960's when Peruvian Amazonians migrated to Lima, and their Amazonian roots blended with the big city life in Lima. This created a cultural melting pot of food, music and design, known as "Cultura Chicha". Chicha Berlin brings a taste of the amazing flavors, colors and sounds of Chicha culture to the German capital, in the form of an authentic cevichería & pisco bar. I’m a big ceviche fan but this was not good. Not only the food wasn’t tasty, but also the service was too slow. The waitresses were nice but we had to wait a lot and they brought our drinks when we were about to finish the food. GooglePlace - January 2018

The interior is minimal but pretty. The service is fast, friendly and helpful. The food itself is pretty fantastic, many taste and explosions. Dishes are rather small for the price, but the taste excuses that. The Pisco Sour is also top notch. GooglePlace - December 2017
Average Peruvian food which was overall slightly too spicy. I assume quality of former times keeps on falling. That’s a pity actually. I have heard great stuff about this place. GooglePlace - December 2017

Very nicely served tasty dishes, with surprising colors and flavors. Best when everything is shared between all. Good choice for special occasions as it's kinda gourmet and pricy. Some vegetarian/vegan options too but they're not the place's highlight. The staff is very friendly as well. GooglePlace - November 2017

Street-food style Peruvian restaurant, with a pop-up hipster feel. I dined alone at the bar, had a pisco sour, ceviche and a glass of wine. Staff all the right side of friendly. Food was tasty - portions not huge for the price, fine for me but those with big appetites should order sides. I’d definite come back if I return to Berlin. Would recommend in particular for solo diners. GooglePlace - October 2017
