Sasaya is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Berlin, but it's quite frustrating as it seems impossible to eat there. When I show up for lunch on the weekend, sometimes as early as 12:30 they are no longer letting people in, and for dinner, it's so hard to talk to them on the phone, the line seems to be always busy! It's not so convinient to get there as I don't live so near, so it would really be great if they had an email for reservations or something like that. GooglePlace - July 2017

The most kind and friendly staff. Besides the tasty original food, they serve a great sake. But be aware,no chance of making a reservation via phone. GooglePlace - July 2017

Really good Japanese kitchen. Not only sushi. It really taste like the meals I had in Japan. Not easy to find a table and not easy to make a reservation. Be sure not to go next to closing hour because they will not serve you. If they will change this I will give them 5 stars GooglePlace - June 2017

Very authentic Japanese food with good presentation of food. The more authentic you go for Japanese food in Europe, the more plain interior design/food presentation become. But this place somehow achieved both. Very reasonably priced for its quality, especially their lunch menu start from around €7. GooglePlace - June 2017

The Japanese restaurant of Berlin. Evidently an amazing selection of sushi but surprisingly also delicious Japanese meals with ingredients you hardly find out of Japan. Service is also very Japanese in its way. You can see the cook perform while making all kind of sushis and other meals. Very special Japanese place for a Berliner price! A must see!
