Excellent food but terrible service by sour and rude staff. Would have liked to stay for dessert or a beer but they weren’t for taking our order, so we paid to the cent and left. GooglePlace - December 2017

Slightly unfriendly service and mediocre food. Price was not above what you find in Friedrichshain but not an incentive to visit the place either. I would not recommend this restaurant. GooglePlace - December 2017

Great traditional restaurant! We loved to eat there and they are so kind and friendly! GooglePlace - November 2017

The restaurant isn’t very cozy and the temperature itself is cold since they leave the door open. We had the sirloin steak and the beef goulash with dumplings. They weren’t that good but the sirloin steak was better than the beef goulash. Anyways... I love dumplings so that was the primary motivating factor of us coming here .. the knödel aka dumplings weren’t great. We had both kinds of dumplings.. the classic and the pretzel one. They were bland. Also we ordered still water and they brought us a lightly gassed water (as an American I can’t stand sparking water) it’s not the same - next time they should just offer tap water GooglePlace - October 2017

Come hungry! Everything on the menu is good. Cheap, cheerful and authentic German pub food. Foursquare - October 2017
