Tips from the Net @ The Castle Pub

Fine selection of drinks and ambience. The pulled pork burger was average but I'm told the others are better. Wins on location, ample seating and the patio. GooglePlace - November 2017

A nice, spacious bar, where you can also order food and snacks. The bathrooms are downstairs. In the back you enter the backyard / garten area / terrace with tables and seats and option to smoke. Every Monday is pub quiz night, starting at 19:45. Questions/answers are giving in English and in German. 2 Euros pr partition. GooglePlace - November 2017

Really good bar with very friendly staff. Excellent craft beers and a nice beer garden. That all comes with a bit higher price for the beers, but is well worth it! GooglePlace - October 2017

Spacious, relaxing and chic. For starters, you can work from here during daytime: there's fast internet, comfortable sofas, and great coffee. As for the nights: This bar offers a large selection of craft beer, as well as good atmosphere and great music. Especially relevant to expats like me who are sometimes after the international environment, rather than the hard core German places. The prices by the way are totally affordable... the perfect bar to get wasted with friends or just meet people. GooglePlace - September 2017

I am not sure how the beer is but stay away from having breakfast here. The salad had sand on it and the croissant (wasn't fresh but tasted deep frozen) had a hair on it. Combine that with jams in small plastic packaging - any Cafe around will do a better job. The coffe was decent though. GooglePlace - September 2017
