I was working in this restaurant more than half a year since BOF started. First of all I want to add that I’m writing my opinion after some time because just several weeks ago I received last money from BOF for my feriepenge account (after my union and STAR agency helped me to do it). At the beginning I worked in Bof as a dishwasher and after few months as a kitchen helper and as then as a chief. I know restaurant from inside really well. I was one of two persons that worked there kind of on full time so I spent there a lot of time with waiters, kitchen staff and “owner”. During my work in restaurant there was a lot of rotations in staff. Main reason was “kind of owner” who was arrogant, rude and full of discrimination person. Despite of the fact that he makes really good first impression. Person who I’m writing about is Robin. From the beginning he introduce himself as one of the owners and he did all owner's job in restaurant like menu, contracts, booking etc. As I heard few months later, he probably wasn’t even hired in this restaurant for all this time. Moreover he had restaurant in the same place before Bof, called Tapasbaren which was closed because of debt. During working in bof I was lied many times. Apart from the facts that “owner” promised me full time contract and better salary. Symptom of dishonest was also fact that he didn’t share tips with staff. Most of the tips that we got by credit cards was in restaurant account and he promised that it’s gone be shared in the end of the month. After more than 7 months of working there I didn’t receive anything from that. Few times manager of restaurant shared small amount with staff but only because we exert pressure that night. I have also concerns about service. Owner pushed staff to bend the hygiene rules to reduce the losses in restaurant. One of example was pushing dishwasher to collecting leftovers of barney sauce from every saucepans and sell it one more time what I think was disgusting. Its only one of many examples. The main reason why I’m writing this opinion is to warn other people against owner. Moreover I think that people with such bad attitude shouldn’t have any business connected with serving food. Good service but the food is really terrible. No taste, or even a bad tasting salad. Also, the beef in the burger where just cooked to death and the bun was looking nice but dry and boring as they come GooglePlace - January 2017
