Description

Meltingly delicious Smorrebrod in town. I try Tatar which made from friskhakket oksekod with pepper, pickles, special egg sauce... Yummy😋 GooglePlace - November 2017

The red herring open face sandwich and roast beef one were both extremely flavorful and paired with delicious toppings. Portions are small, which makes this a good stop for a snack. Foursquare - November 2017

Oh my days the smørrebrød were divine. The delicious rye bread was only just about able to support the burgeoning and very tasty toppings. There's a really nice selection from egg & prawn, meatball, chicken and many other things. Really recommended if you're passing by. GooglePlace - October 2017

It was good to have my first Smorrebrod but its taste was somewhat disappointing. They have many different smorrebrod so it could be a good place for travelers like me to try Danish food. GooglePlace - October 2017

Hallernes is the perfect place to try smørrebrød! There are so many options, there's something for everyone. There's a display case so that you can easily pick what you want. We got the chicken salad, the shrimp with hard boiled eggs, and the roast beef. The roast beef was absolutely delicious. The shrimp was also pretty good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken salad. It didn't have much flavor. The market it's in is definitely a good place to check out. We could have eaten all of our meals there — there's such a large variety of cuisines to choose from.
