I visited Friday September 15th with a good friend and we tried the Omakase Tasting Menu for 350DKR (min. 2 persons) which included 10 dishes: edamame, fresh vegetable salat, ika ichiyaboshi (squid), sashimi, karaage (deep fried chicken), gyoza (Japanese dumplings), Ebi Furai (Fried Shrimps), gyutataki (Japanese beef carpaccio), Rice and ice cream. The sashimi, gyutataki and fresh vegetable salad was very delicious. The fried dishes were good, but not great than usual. I've been traveling in Japan for two months and I think the fried dishes needed some decorations in terms of slices of veggies or herbs to make the food presentation look better comparing to what you pay for. Especially the shrimps were dull with soya. We both had a Jah draft beer and were very satisfied with both the beer and the menu though some food presentations had lacks and the waiters very busy. I wouldn't call this an typical izakaya since the traditional Japanese concepts offer small dishes in the amount of hours you're spending in the bar including alcoholic beverage for an amount of hours. Hence, you pay for the time spent. I guess this izakaya has it's own western interpretation of their on concept and is more a Japanese Tapas Restaurant rather than a traditional Japanese izakaya. Nevertheless, this place seems really authentic in it's atmosphere and interior. Even the toilets follow Japanese standards greeting you with an uplifted toilet seat once you enter. Check the bill before paying! We was charged water automatically even though we only had beer! If you're very, very hungry you might not get full by the tasting menu! GooglePlace - September 2017

First off it lives up to how an Izakaya should be-- drinks and small side - dishes to share. Taste-- awesome and authentic, we tried nearly everything (for the food menu) and it was hands down so. good. They also have a good selection of Sakes, something that ain't so common around here. Ambience-- Cosy and can get crowded. Staffs were extremely nice! Love it and looking forward to visit again! GooglePlace - June 2017

Amazing food and great sake. The sashimi, gyukatsu, gyutataki and homemade beer are all highly recommendable GooglePlace - May 2017

The food was good, so was the sake. Friendly staff and cool interior. I went by myself and ordered way too much food - could have used some better guidience from staff when ordering. I can recommend get a beer with the sake. GooglePlace - February 2017
