La Esquina – Rustic, delicious brunch and wine
La Esquina – Rustic, delicious brunch and wine I have no idea how you pronounce the name, La Esquina. In our household it’s just called “the place where they have the awesome brunch by the lakes”. But once you step inside, it is ... continue Copenhagen Spotted by Locals · Blog

The white wine selection is all quite sweet but on a muggy warm day an ice cube and spritz was a great suggestion. Foursquare - June 2017

This is my favorite cafe to take my guests to whenever I'm at work. It's within walking distance to my office and the service is always great here. I have only been here for lunch, so I don't know the situation in the evening. Their menu is simple: Breakfast menu with bread and stuff, lunch with simple sandwiches and dinner with the usual cafe fare. Apart from that, there's always coffee, other warm drink and they have their own beer, as well as beer on tap. I always take the Spanish omelet whenever I'm here. It's good and a little bit spicy, just the way I like it. It's accompanied with a piece of bread and their own butter. It's 70kr, and I think the price is fair enough for it. This time I chose a mint tea with lime and I thought it would be some sort of hot water with bagged tea on it, but no, it was a really lovely tea with a large amount of mint and lime to make it sour enough. I had to put sugar in it, but it was a nice warm drink if you want an alternative to coffee. I think this cafe is simple and simply delightful. GooglePlace - June 2017

We visited on a sunny Tuesday morning and there was a very relaxed vibe in the place - a mix of people on laptops, families and friends chatting quietly over coffee. Service was excellent, with a smile, and the coffee and food were both very good. We had an interesting take on smashed avocado and a restaurant speciality: a spanish style baked omlette. Both dishes were very tasty and had good portion sizes. Only criticism is that the seating was a little uncomfortable. GooglePlace - May 2017
