“Brace” has several meanings. In the context of building, it is that which holds a construction, supporting the foundation. To us, Restaurant Brace is the base for our new concept of fusing the Nordic and Italian cuisine. Our core philosophy lays in fusing these two fascinating gastronomical worlds. By respecting each element, we are able to thrive from what nature offers in both regions. In a casual atmosphere we invite you to try some of our favourite flavors from both the Nordic and Italian kitchen, combined. Executive Chef and Co-Founder, Nicola Fanetti, has combined his culinary experience which has served as an inspiration in developing a connection between the two cuisines. At Brace, each dish is intended to value and emphasize the natural taste of carefully chosen ingredients. Our menu changes seasonally, with a large focus on organic products. In collaboration with our Sommelier, we select wines from small producers of the old and new world. Two levels of wine pairing are offered for the menu.

I wanted so badly that this restaurant be better than it was. But sadly it's attempt to be Michelin rated is it's downfall. The dishes were unsatisfactorily uninspired and frankly if you paid an extra ISK200, you could eat at Amass or Kadeau and be served delicious dishes worthy of stars. GooglePlace - October 2017

This felt like everything fine dining should aspire to be. The tasting menu covers a huge amount of ground and is full of innovative flavors and great textures. The service, the plating, and the atmosphere were spot on. I did a good bit of fine dining during my time in Copenhagen, including a Michelin-starred venue. Neat deco, delicious, interesting and visually well-crafted food. The buffalo mozzarella/aspargus/caviar starter stands out as one of the best starters I've ever had.
