Nordic inspired four- or five course set menu by two former Noma souschefs. The menu is made from quality products in season from the northern European region. The restaurant was awarded Michelin’s Bib Gourmand in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 The style of food is balanced between comfort and innovation – in flavours and choice of ingredients. The team aims to constantly challenge themselves, the ingredients, the producers and ultimately the flavour. Some examples from the menu counts bulls’ balls with tartare sauce, cod head, veal shank braised overnight and a bone marrow crème brûlée. The restaurant is located in the Copenhagen Latin Quarter, and the style of the restaurants reflects the atmosphere of this part of the city. BROR has a rustic, relaxed and warm setting, and the staff aims to treat guests like friends of the family. BROR is the Danish word for brother, and it symbolises care, respect and honesty; values which the restaurant is built upon.

Please do not go to this restaurant-the new owner is rude and hostile. I have had some mediocre or bad experiences at a restaurant before but I have to say this was the worst I have had for sure. I made my reservation for dinner on February 2, 2018 for dinner on February 17, 2018 at 6PM (Saturday). I got a confirmation on my phone on Friday regarding my reservation that the table was reserved from 6PM-8:30PM. Great! I arrived 7 minutes late but was seated quite promptly. I started the course with a glass of champagne, full wine tasting and all. In the middle of dining, I was told that I had 45 minutes to finish my main course and also my desert. The waitress claimed that I was so late for my reservation and that is why we don't have enough time to finish the food. I told her that I was only 7 minutes late and she said my table was reserved from 5:30PM instead until 7:30PM. It seemed like my original reservation did not go through, and the table I was sitting at was not mine. It was a no-show table. The waitress told me that I would have to leave at 7:30PM no matter what. I asked for a manager, but they claimed that nobody was there to represent the restaurant. I obviously did not finish my wines, or food properly and the whole hassle I had to go through during the meal really ruined the night. I was directed to contact the reservation system as they are the ones responsible for all the reservations. I contacted the reservation platform as instructed and found out that it wasn't the reservation platform that made a mistake. Rather it was a miscommunication between the current and previous owner. I called the restaurant to discuss how I could handle this. The new restaurant owner Mads was not cooperative at all, and he hung up on me. He refused to settle anything with me and said that it was none of his business that this has happened. He said it's the old owner's fault and that I should contact the old owner. When I asked if he could then help me contact the old owner he refused. He said he doesn't know and does not stay in touch with the old owner. He also added that I should find that information myself. Perhaps the restaurant was good with the old owners. I did not get a proper apology for a ruined night and neither did I get any compensation/discount for the night. What I did get was a rude response from the current owner who refuses to receive further calls from me and refuses to provide any assistance or help. GooglePlace - February 2018

Delicious and worthy of a visit. The food is well prepared and it's natural flavors are well enhanced. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable about the ingredients and flavors. Great experience all around. GooglePlace - August 2017

Eater: Bare bones restaurant where your meal will start with bull testicle fritters (served with tartar sauce) and usually end with a whole pig’s head you have to attack with your hands. Foursquare - July 2017
