Thoroughly enjoyed dining here. Sat at the bar/kitchen area that's in the front, fun to see the action. Pricey, but top quality. GooglePlace - May 2017

Just like others already posted, reserved a table but were put at a bar at the end of the restaurant. The dishes were bland in flavor and not balanced on the palate, something which would be the minimum expectation of this restaurant. The staff was inexperienced and could not help with describing the dishes or being able to identify a wine profile to go with them. While paying, when I pointed out that we overpaid on our bill, the staff did not offer or bother to bring the change. Overall, a mediocre restaurant where vibe is made less and prone to nervous energy by inexperienced staff. The meals we tried were definitely not worth the price when compared to similar restaurants in NYC, Sydney, or London. I would suggest giving this place a miss and rather heading for more innovative cuisine at Amass. GooglePlace - May 2017

Great meal, surprising dishes and different from what you might be used to, great atmosphere, a bit on the expensive side even considering the quality and exclusiveness of the place GooglePlace - May 2017

Have been there twice 4 years apart. Haven't evolved in those year, which doesn't make this bad, but Copenhagen have gotten a lot of better alternatives at the same price point in those years. Some dishes had a somewhat average taste, while others were perfect. GooglePlace - May 2017

We were so fortunate to find this place (pure luck). I am surprised actually to see such a low rate of this place here on Google. To me it was a gem - the highlight of the entire Copenhagen trip actually. I loved it so much we went there twice, plus visited "The Market" - another restaurant opened by the same owner - by recommendation of our Geist waitress. First time in Geist we took 2 different dishes + 1 desert each, second time - 3 different dishes + 1 desert. So between 2 of us we have tasted 10 different dishes and 4 deserts - all were unbelievable 100% hit! All other restaurants in Copenhagen (albeit all being great too) just fade comparing to Geist. I have traveled to quite a few countries and been to my fair share of restaurants around the world, and for now this is my #1 favorite. In fact, I am afraid, I will not be as impressed by lots of excellent restaurants I will go to from now on, because subconsciously I will compare them to Geist and it is going to be nearly impossible competition.
