Worst experience ever. Looked / tasted like they'd run down Lidl for a microwave Madras. Chicken was dry and hard, naan was obviously shop bought. Don't get ripped off.

Because of all the positive ratings, I was so looking forward to visiting Shahi, but I was really disappointed. Usually, I love Indian food, but my lamb curry was filled with big chunks of cinnamon and lots of whole cloves and green cardamoms. Not a good experience.

Tourist trap. Shabby interior you really can't call cozy. Rice was dried out so you had crusty chunks in it, was over-seasoned for a side to my taste. Naan was doughy and not fully cooked, smell reminded more of a deep dish pizza. Butter chicken was tough and came cut in cubes (frozen produce?) Sauce tasted far too sweet (pineapple?) compared to any other butter chicken I've eaten so far. Two stars, because of friendly and fast service.
UPDATE: I seriously think the owner is actively manipulating the reviews. Look at all the 5 star ratings of users with a single review! To the owner: please put all that effort into fixing the issues of your restaurant, rather than wasting all your energy on fake online reviews.

Brought here by some locals, the venue is a bit grubby but the food is incredible. All dishes offer 9 levels of spices, split into Danish / English / Indian - each of them having their own 3 levels. Service is good and homey, you will definitely be having a nice dinner there.
