Restaurant and higher end grocery store rolled into one. We ate at 9pm on the front patio tables with a unobstructed view of the north side of the duomo baptistry. The road is closed to cars so you don't get any exhaust smells ruining your meal. The octopus pasta and sliced steak salad were on point. The steak was seared medium rare just as ordered and the octopus was stewed to a tender chewiness. Friendly smiles and prompt service from our waitress with the lavender hair. Service and food were great! Quiet and beautiful decor. Great place to eat. We recommend. The roast beef and rocket was excellent. GooglePlace - September 2017

We got pizza here a few times as we knew we won't be disappointed. And to Jeff Taylor below, it's NOT a chain stared in the US. A simple google search will tell you that 1st Eataly was opened in Turin, Italy. They have outdoor seating and if you're looking for a casual and quick lunch or dinner, it's a solid place to go. There's usually a street performer in the evenings playing great music as well. GooglePlace - September 2017

Great supermarket with variety of products. Delicious pizza and great service. Had 3 of the pizzas the two were extravagant. The one just wasn't my taste. GooglePlace - August 2017

The best place by the Duomo. It's the same grocery/restaurant company as in NYC and Chicago but this one is small and quaint. Free cooking classes the whole month of August and great pastries and coffee. Also clean restroom with a changing table for the babies! GooglePlace - August 2017
