It's a fish shop and basic restaurant as well. Good service, tasty anchovies, other starters looked good as well. However I have a suspicion that some main dishes (including grilled seafood) were pre cooked or frozen - something was wrong. So I would recommend to stop for a glass of wine with some tapas, anchovies or octopus salad, but not dinner.

I passed by this Osteria on a second occasion with my husband. We had eaten here one other time and, even though a little pricey was quite good. We returned and expected more or less the same. Well i can only say they that these guys are a bunch of rip off merchants! I was seriously overcharged for what i ate! When i asked for an explanation, i was told that the fish was sold by weight, which was not made clear from the start. I've eaten much better at other places and spent less. Avoid at all cost.!

Piacevole scoperta al Ponte alla Vittoria, "ristorantino" di pesce veramente gradevole e simpatico. Cibo ottimo, vini pure.. un plauso speciale per chef Enzo!

Very good pastas and other fish specialities. Prices on the higher side, as it is not a regular restaurant.

Locationwise Fiaschetteria di Pesce it's really out of the standard "tourist circle", which makes it a local place and already starts to get a lot of positive points for it. It doesn't accepts reservations (another good point), and fish quality is really nice for a place like Florence that doesn't offer much under that point of view. Only drawback it's the price (a little steep, but still acceptable) and of course the confusion that a place with no reservations (but very very popular) attracts.
