Charming hotel in central Florence with lovely and unique style. Stayed in Deluxe room and it was generous sized with double sinks in the bathroom. Very good breakfast with gluten-free options and great cappuccinos. GooglePlace - September 2017

What a gem in the heart of Florence. Il Guelfo Bianco is superbly located 9 minutes walk from the train station, very close to the Galleria dell'Accademia (where David is). I stayed here from 19th -23rd September. The staff were fantastic and always had a smile. Antonella was extremely helpful and helped me check in with Ryanair even though she was very busy. The breakfast was lovely. I most certainly will be back. Like all Gems , it was flawless. GooglePlace - September 2017

Spent a week in Florence in mid August at Il Guelfo Bianco and we were extremely happy. In preparation for our trip any questions or requests we had were answered very promptly. The staff arranged for tickets to the Academia and Uffizi and were extremely friendly and helpful with advice and directions. The hotel has a fantastic location within a few minutes of numerous sights and in a beautiful area with many great restaurants. Rooms had great air conditioning which was a relief given the temps in the high 30's all week, room was quite large and relaxing. Really a very nice breakfast every morning. Could not recommend this property highly enough, it was a great experience GooglePlace - September 2017

Absolutely delightful! We enjoyed Hotel Il Guelfo Bianco for our lovely, large room (the picture here is of the beautiful fresco on the ceiling of our room), the friendly and helpful staff, and the interesting art scattered throughout the hotel. And the breakfast! Delicious fresh breads, coffee, fruits, pastries, cheeses . . . I could go on and on about just the breakfast. Hotel Il Guelfo Bianco is a gem, located a stone's throw from the Duomo. Don't miss it! GooglePlace - July 2017

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon trip to Italy. The location was great but we didn't like our stay here. The room was so HOT and the air conditioning could not keep up AT ALL. Florence was extremely hot when we visited and we were out of the hotel most of the day so our key card was not in the room to keep the air conditioning on. We couldn't sleep well the whole time we were there because it was way too hot and we asked if there was a way to keep the air on while we were out because the room wouldn't cool down until morning and they said they would leave it on for us but instead just left the lights on which wasn't what we needed. We asked again another day and the problem still never got fixed. If you are going to Florence during summer I wouldn't recommend this place at all, however if you are coming during a different time of year I would probably have no complaints.
