Tips from the Net @ L'Osteria Di Giovanni
We were in the area and read current reviews. This is by far the best restaurant we have been to since we arrived in Italy. We are still sitting at our table as I write this. Forget the restaurants where you order everything and that is what you get. L'Osteria Di Giovanni starts it out right with a small glass of champagne when you sit down. The red house wine was perfect for us. Every table is full locals. We feel like we are sitting in a persons home. For non-Italian speaking (English folks) they have a separate menu all in English. Plus, they speak good English. You will enjoy this place. GooglePlace - March 2017
Excellent pizza and free glass of champagne and small appetizer when you enter. Service was fast. Prices are a little high (€7 for a margherita, €9 for a caprese). They also add on a service fee so I guess the appetizer isn't really free... Anyway, the pizza was delicious!GooglePlace - March 2017
This place was absolutely spectacular! Great service and food. Gave us all complimentary appetizers and desserts too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!GooglePlace - March 2017
My boyfriend and I loved our dinner here! The prices were a bit high, but it was worth it for the good food and wine. I had the pear and cheese ravioli for my entree, which was very good. My boyfriend had the steak with parmesan and onions and said it was delicious. The customer service was exceptional. Everyone at the restaurant went above and beyond, which was so nice especially since we had walked in without a reservation. Would definitely recommend for a splurge dinner!GooglePlace - January 2017
Seafood Pasta dish was just okay.
Florentine steak was good. Minimum order 1kilos, rather huge for 2 person, therefore the variety of dishes you could try is limited if you go for this.
Roasted potatoes that came with the steak was good.
Fried bread and white wine was offered appetizers. Ended off with almond biscuits and spirit. Good stuff, but there is a cover charge 4 euros for these items, its reasonable!
Crowds were a mixture of tourists and locals.
Service was fantastic. Empty at 7pm, full house at 8.30pm on a weekend.GooglePlace - November 2016
Очень вкусно. Бронировать лучше заранее. Вечером полный ресторан гостей. Работает с 19:00. Очень рекомендую десерты.Foursquare - July 2016
Waited 25 min even though we had reservation, they do give you free prosecco while you wait. Service was meh. Average food at best, instead eat at la buchetta, pandemonio or za za for same price.Foursquare - July 2016
Perfect staff and above standard tiramisu. A bit pricey but worth to try if u r in vacationFoursquare - July 2016
