Tuttavia, il 2014 segna l’inizio di una nuova era al Buon Caffè con una selezione di nuove, gustose ed entusiasmanti idee per una cucina sempre organica e raffinata. Autenticità e onestà sono alla base di tutto quello che creiamo al Buon Caffè. I nostri menù sono pensati ognuno a seconda delle stagioni. Il pescato del giorno viene consegnato fresco giornalmente dalle acque del Mediterraneo; le carni provengono da allevamenti liberi locali, mentre ortaggi, frutta, verdura, erbe aromatiche e miele sono forniti dalla nostra fattoria in campagna. Nel rispetto del territorio fiorentino circostante i nostri menù sono pensati per riflettere la cultura culinaria e il patrimonio gastronomico unico di questa regione. :::: At La Bottega del Buon Caffè, Michelin star, we have been producing seasonal authentic Florentine dishes for years. Yet, 2014 marks the start of a new era as the Buon Caffè team launch a selection of exciting new organic and gourmet concepts. Authenticity and honesty is at the heart of all we create at Buon Caffè and our menus are created individually according to the season. Today’s catch of fresh fish is delivered from the Mediterranean daily, free-range meats are supplied by local artisan farmers and our vegetables, fruit, herbs and honey are bought from our farm in the country. Respecting our Florentine location our menus are designed to reflect the region’s unique gastronomic heritage and vibrant culinary culture.

We had just left their resort (Borgo Santo Pietro) in Tuscany prior to our stay in Florence, so we were very much looking forward to dining at their sister restaurant in Florence. We had lunch there and though the food presentation and taste were both incredible, the service and ambiance ruined our dining experience. There were more servers and chefs in the kitchen than there were diners, and the overall ambiance was just stuffy, and pretentious, which was the complete opposite of what we had experienced in Chiusdino. Coming from Canada, we didn't have any experience with Michelin Star restaurants. I think the best way to describe dinner at La Bottega is to say it offers all the luxuries of an art gallery, a five-star restaurant, a spa, and a theatre. To see the way the staff work together to cater to your every need is unbelievable-it's the type of service you could only dream of. Every dish is truly amazing, with a quality of ingredients that is otherwise unheard of. I honestly was so overwhelmed by my experience that I could have cried happy tears! This was the best meal and experience we had during our two week trip to Italy! The food was outstanding!!! The kitchen is very creative and accommodating. The staff is very friendly.
