Bad service e.g pasta was cold when the pizza came. The portion was small and food wasn't good. GooglePlace - August 2017

Avoid if you can. We went there a while ago on a visit to Florence. The food was actually not bad (not brilliant either) but the service was appaling. Among the dishes we ordered a vegetarian meal for one of the kids but were given a steak which was much more expensive. Complained straight away, young waiter did not know what to say so we agreed they would charge us for the meal we asked, not the steak - he said fine. By then the kid was starving so we said we'd carry on and he would just eat potatoes and salad that went with it. When we finished the bill included the steak price on it so we asked to see the manager. He came out shouting and loudly suggested we are trying to get food for free, all in front of other customers! Told him to shut up and explained that we had complained and came to the agreement with the waiter before so he went back inside. Apparently that poor young guy never admitted his mistake to his boss and hadn't even mentioned there was an issue, so then we could hear the boss shouting at him inside and then he came back afyer a few minutes with a reduced bill. All felt a bit like a scene from Fawlty Towers in a hindsight, but wasn't so funny there and then. While I understand people make mistakes, the manager's treatment of customers and his staff is a disgrace. GooglePlace - August 2017

We had an awful experience in this restaurant. Staff were surly and unwelcoming. We should have walked out at this point. We had been traveling all day and were very hungry so made the mistake of being impulsive. The food was exceptionally awful. Such a shame. Florence is a beautiful city, in general, the people are warm and welcoming. However, the staff in this place showed Florence at its worst. Avoid, at all costs. Even if you are starving. Keep on walking towards Porte Vecchio. Good restaurants are plentiful. GooglePlace - July 2017

We were very unhappy! We ordered Salad Caprice, Capriciosa pizza, Carbonara Pasta and a bottle of water. 1. A bottle of water was never brought, but it was in the check. 2. In the salad there was sour mozzarella, bitter lettuce leaves, only tomatoes were normal. 3. Pizza was impossible to eat, it seems that it was simply thawed and heated, plus cut the sausage from above. 4. Pasta was also so-so. As for the service, it was even worse than eating. The waiter served the dish directly in hand! And not on the table, and very casually. As if - On, hold on! So even in the diners do not! When served the next dish in the hands, the waiter touched my shoulder with a plate and did not apologize, okay ok. But it was not a complete landing. Not a single dish was eaten, quickly paid off and ran away from there. Here such lawlessness is going on in Florence ... GooglePlace - July 2017

Centrally located, however away from the crowds. This place was right outside the door of where we stayed. Situated in a clean and traditionally furnished building. Good selection on the menu, I had gnocchi in gorgonzola which was well presented and tasty, my partner had the octopus salad again tasty and good prices too. The restaurant closed shortly after we finished our meals (post lunch), however the staff allowed us to remain sitting on the patio outside finishing our wine and allowed us to use facilities if needed. Very friendly staff and enjoyable meal. Would have given 3.5 stars but couldn't figure out how to do half star on google reviews. GooglePlace - June 2017
