This was hands down one of my husband and I’s favourite places in all of Tuscany. The pasta with white truffle was so good I spent 45 minutes eating it just so I could savour it. Service was excellent. If you’re looking for good food, good service without the frills - this place is it. GooglePlace - November 2017

Bad table service. Tiramisu tastes like just taken out from freezer. Would not recommend. GooglePlace - October 2017

La Martinicca ranks somewehre at the top of our dining list on our recent visit to Italy, which this time around focused on Tuscany and Amalfi. We booked a table ahead of time after a friend recommended the restaurant, but on the night we noticed that there were pleanty of available tables so walkins should be ok as well. We decided to go all out and ordered the following dishes: carpaccio flavoured with burrata and truffle, lamb with herbs and patatoes, gnocchi with bacon and pecorino, ravioli with truffle and asparagus sauce, napoleon cake, and a bottle of chianti classico. At the end of the meal we could not find a single fault with the food even if we tried. Everything was exquisitely prepared and bursting with flavour. The interior of the restaurant was quite classic and the service was overall very good. The quality and authenticity of the food is however what sets this place apart. It is simply put a hidden culinary gem in the back streets of Florence. GooglePlace - July 2017
