A quiet and quant little local restaurant if you want more authentic food without the tourist hussle. The decor made it feel homely and the owner, Sergio made us feel very welcome. They were happy to help us with any questions we had and the service was probably one of the best I had received in all my travels throughout Italy. A lovely large meal followed up by a swig of lemoncello! Thank you for a lovely evening. GooglePlace - August 2017

The team at Trattoria Cantinetta Allegri are the best we have come across in Roma, Napoli and Firenze so far! This Trattoria definitely has a great vibe and homely feel, whilst serving some class dishes. Their excellent service and knowledge on their menu complete our night after a SUPERB meal! Thank you Sergio and team for an excellent last night in Firenze! I highly recommend this Trattoria for a meal that will leave you feeling very happy! GooglePlace - August 2017

A rare gem you were searching for and thought you couldn't afford, luckily you found it! I was quickly able to fall in love with the simplicity of how amazing the food was and without any tourist BS. If you want to eat like a local and leave the hoards of tourists that don't know about where to eat? Come here. GooglePlace - August 2017

Value for money, very friendly staff. We had the wild boar pasta which was nice. Definitely have the tiramisu, which is a very generous portion for €4 GooglePlace - July 2017

Food was fast and simple- tasty enough but definitely not the quality of others in Florence. Bread was not nice at all. Very quiet- and despite appearances - pretty touristy. We've had better meals of every dish we ate elsewhere for the same price. Would definitely not recommend the Pinot Grigio! Try the house red despite its pairing. GooglePlace - October 2016
