We must've just came on an off night after looking at these 4 and 5-star reviews. The food was average at best, but you get big portions. We got an appetizer that was just ok. The pasta dishes we got were good but definitely some sort of frozen or boxed pasta. The meat dishes we got were inedible. Giving them a generous 3-stars because the place was nice and the price was great. GooglePlace - December 2017

Have been in Venice and Florence for a week and can comfortably say that this place has served the best food and has the friendliest service of any place we have eaten. The starters (polenta with liver pate and mushrooms, carpaccio of seafood and a splendid board of mixed cheeses that lasted until dessert) were all mind blowingly great. We then all had pasta dishes and every one of them delighted each of us. Our last night in Italy for a while and a wonderful meal - in every aspect - to finish our holiday. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. GooglePlace - October 2017

This Trattoria was a wonderful shock after four days paying much more and putting up with rude waitstaff in Rome. My wife and I each had multiple course meals. Mine started with a speghetti with small shrimp mixed in. It was great and would have sufficed. Next came the main course which was billed as fried shrimp and squid but turned out to be a large portion of very lightly breaded calimari and the three largest prawn shrimp I had ever seen. With the main course came a large plate of cook d spinach. Oh and there was a small carafe of wine...and a large slice of apple cake and vanilla ice cream. Total price was 25 euros. My wife who is a smaller eater ordered a 10 euro meal which was a large portion of spaghetti and meat sauce and grilled vegetables. It came with water but not wine so we ordered her a glass. When my desert came there were two forks so she shared. Total bill was 38 Euro. Unbelievably awesome. Thank you Trattoria Da Guido. GooglePlace - July 2017

This place is one of the only ones in Florence to not have a table charge or service charge! The food here is excellent! Me and my girlfriend wanted to eat just a big bowl of pasta and this place hit the spot. Excellent offer of a first course and a side with a bottle of water for 10 euros. I was concerned that a first wouldn't be enough but the portion was massive. See the picture. Great atmosphere, great staff, fantastic food! Absolute must go to! GooglePlace - June 2017
