Arguably the most famous, if not the best, sea food restaurant in Nice. Very good food and ambiance amidst hectic service.

We went for mussels. One of us had years past tried them here and liked them. What we were served were the smallest mussels, bland in themselves and in the preparation. As they were particularly small we asked the waiter why they were so different from earlier visits. He answered that it was a particularly delicate and small French type (?) and the bigger ones were Spanish and out of season in December (?). You get the impression from the place and the decor that this is an institution that knows about seafood. I would advice against that impression. To me it seemed tired and unfocused

Super tasty and a great location situated on the street side or to a beautifull square there is a large outdoor ice section where all the products are stored and are visible to see. They are then brought to the table In beautifull large trays which add a great sense of theatre to the meal. A fantastic place to take someone if you want to impress

Enormous, unique oysters! Largest ones I’ve ever come across, with a quite pleasant nutty taste. Service and presentation is spot on too. It is quite expensive though, but given their location (right on Garibaldi place) and offerings one can easily justify it. Recommended!

Nice open air restaurant at the corner of Place Garibaldi in Nice, Food offering is 100% fish of which 99% is shellfish. Service was excellent, soup & mussels were the only hot dishes on the menu. Mussels were exceptionally good. one starter & two main courses cost €42 so not bad value for money in the heart of Nice. All in all enjoyable meal.
