Tips from the Net @ Grand Balcon

Mekan vasat. Et çok kötü, önden gelen sıcaklardan sadece çorba iyiydi, yengeç fena değildi. Tatlılar normal... Cote d'Azur da deniz mahsüllerinden başka bişey yemeyin. Afiyet olsun. Foursquare - May 2017

Delicious food and pleasant atmosphere are our fond memory of this restaurant, though service may get slightly lagging when it became a full house. As a whole, we like it a lot and recommend this for an enjoyable dinner. GooglePlace - September 2016

Great location. Good atmosphere. Poor service. Poor/average food. The staff are much more concerned about fighting among themselves than serving you. The cod was very poor and the prawn linguine was not good. GooglePlace - September 2016

The food was decent, but we were expecting more for a place as well-rated as this one. The service was slow but friendly. GooglePlace - August 2016

I'm posting retrospectively. I came looking for the Grand Balcon because i wanted to know that it still existed. After surviving on memories of one of the best meals I've ever eaten on the planet, I'm relieved and perhaps not surprised to find that it is. I ate there back in 2003. And it remains, 13 years later, one of the best gastronomic experiences of my life. My praise goes both to the kitchen and to the front of house staff who together took the time, (without apparently trying very hard) to make just one ordinary night on holiday so special, it remains fresh in my memory some 13 years later. I've seen some bad reviews. And i guess they're from people who have experienced 'not highest standard' days. And i just wanted to give you my perspective, which is "You create memories". Don't forget that! Continue to make them the best! Even if i never make it back to Nice, I'll carry your unsurpassed memory to my grave. GooglePlace - August 2016
