It's a bit of Portugal in Oslo. A great way to experience a bit of what it is to be Portuguese. The famous Portuguese Custard Pies aka PASTEL DE NATA, it's delicious - they serve it warm as it should be, I recommend sprinkling with a bit of cinnamon for the experience. They also have Peeled chestnuts very traditional Portuguese as they were the based of our food before the introduction of the potato from the colonies. The coffee as you can see the Portuguese option are always simple, without the flair of the milk foam. This little jewel in Oslo is a must. I recommend to anyone who comes to visit! We first tasted the pastry "Pastel de Nata" while visiting Lisbon in December, and fell in love with them. Imagine our surprise when we stumbled upon the same thing in Oslo. Except for being more expensive (of course), these are almost as good as the original. Try to get some when they are fresh out of the oven. GooglePlace - March 2017

The only place I know of in Oslo where you can get pastel de nata (Portuguese egg tarts). They have a lot of other nice cakes as well as lunch. If you come here for the egg tarts, get here early as they sell out. GooglePlace - February 2017
