Restaurant eik was a restaurant I truly enjoyed. I was there with our company for christmas dinner or as you say in sweden and norway "julbord". Each dish was excellent and very well balance in taste. Well definitly recommend. GooglePlace - December 2017

Restauranteik was a solid restaurant I truly enjoyed. Each dish was excellent in taste, presentation, and balance of the ingredients. The poached egg 60 degrees was by far one of the best modern European dishes Ive had. The eggs were heavenly soft and melted like butter. Crispy chicken skin and other ingredients mixed harmoniously and hit every element that our tongues could sense. I was thoroughly impressed by the originality and perfection of this dish. Excellent food, nice and helpful service. We were very happy until the amount of guests increased. Then we had to wait one hour for the last dish nevertheless we ask for it twice... In the end there came no coffee and only a short good bye with the bill. Very upsetting because we were with family and friends and ordered everything afore. My boyfriend and I went there looking for a fancy vegetarian dinner. The chef improvised a 5-course menu for us. We are from New York and did not find this to be expensive. (Also, everything in Norway is expensive.) The food was outstanding. We loved every dish. The food was inventive and used locally grown ingredients. We were super impressed and will go there again. The plates were small, however, that's what a tasting menu is. We were not hungry afterwards. GooglePlace - August 2017
