Tips from the Net @ Ladurée

I didn’t like the load of people, the tourists, the slow service but enjoyed the casual food which I can experience at any Ladurée. If planning to visit again, it won’t be this location. Food is good enough but not exceptional, service is way too slow. GooglePlace - November 2017

Really bummed out. Perfect setting on a nice night. Service in the outdoor seating area is just awful. 3 of us ordered and we received 1 of the orders in about 35 mins. The other 2 (a crazy order of French toast and macaroons 🤔) never showed after over an hour. They apologised and were nice, but need to learn how to hustle a lot more. Either understaffed or poor training. GooglePlace - November 2017

On the day that we went we had a 10 minute wait in a queue to get in the front door of the boutique, as it’s known. Once inside it was another 10 minutes wait in a queue to get your order taken, but this gave you time to take in the picturesque decor and see the excitement on the people’s face as they placed their orders and took photos. If you like macaroons it’s a must to go for the experience, as Laduree were the first to develop the macaroon. From a males prospective I think they are expensive, but it’s not about me and my fiancé loved it. One for keeping the missus 👍🏼 GooglePlace - October 2017

Let's begin with what Laduree is known for... macaroons! These are brilliant, of course. The restaurant inside is beautiful, classically styled. It's also open until quite late. The food for dinner is quite average, but the experience of the surroundings and dessert make up for the food. GooglePlace - October 2017

I stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to get a nice cup of tea on a Sunday afternoon. The seating area outside was very popular and I had to wait 10 minutes, but that was okay as the weather was nice. I chose the Pistachio pastry and a pot of Orange Blossom tea. Service was fast and both the pastry and the tea were excellent. I give 4 instead of 5 stars because of the high price and some confusion over my bill - the 4 (!) waiters on duty were smiling and courteous, but quite disorganized... GooglePlace - October 2017
