Tips from the Net @ Le Montebello

Very nice place. Food was delicious, staff is very pleasant and speak English. Great view at the Notre Dame cathedral makes this place perfect for short break after long walks. I'm not sure why others gave low rating. Me and my girlfriend had a lunch (steak and pasta with beer and coffee) with an average price of 30 per person. GooglePlace - February 2018

We were very warm welcomed. Get dishes without extra waiting. I had t-bone steak but without bone. But it was prepared medium rare perfectly. Duck in orange was delicious. Tarte tatin was good but pastry too much burnt. GooglePlace - January 2018

If you want a typically French menu with a great view of the Notre Dame, this is the place to go. Reasonably priced at an average of around EUR 25 per person. You don't get Michelin star food but correct for the price. GooglePlace - December 2017

Apparently it's a great idea to paint your restaurant right before you open. So I went inside while the doorpost was freshly painted without any sort of sign, so I have black paint on my jacket. The waiter seeing this just gave me napkins and terpentine and walked away. Didn't even bother to help me and kept looking like it was all my fault. No compensation, remorse or trying to make things right. Only thing that made me feel better is that minutes later he himself also brushed the same doorpost with his arm. Also, overpriced and very mediocre food. Don't eat in such touristy places that rip you off. GooglePlace - November 2017

I don't know why this place has a low rating. We stumbled across this restaurant on a rainy day. The food was nice, the staff friendly, the place comfortable. About the price, it is just opposite Notrè Dame Cathedral, and this isn't a charity shop. :) GooglePlace - October 2017
