My wife and I are vegetarian and ate here prior to going to theatre. We ate at 5.30pm so would expect good quality food prior to dinner diners but wasn't what we got. The cold vegetables were bad quality and the supposed hot food wasn't hot at all. This is cheap food that the most inexperienced cook could make. Presentation bad. We went there as we had always discussed going there to try it out. We wouldn't go again. Visited June 2015. GooglePlace - March 2017

Cozy restaurant near Old Town Square. Vegan Buffet where you can pay by weight. Food was fresh and delicious, and as you can see below, all this amount of food plus water and bread was 200ck. I wish I had found out about this place sooner! GooglePlace - March 2017

There is a bio shop and also a brilliant vegetarian canteen in the same courtyard. The canteen sells food by weight and has at least 8 hot courses and a vast array of prepared salads and vegetables. Service was quick and staff friendly. Freshly made smoothies also available made as you wait by the chefs who are visible working in the kitchen. GooglePlace - March 2017

Country Life is a restaurant where it really depends what time you come there. If you come around lunch time the food looks and tastes fresh. If you come in the late afternoon the food kind of looks unappealing but still tastes good - especially for the very discounted price :) - last time I went there before 7 pm we had meal for two plus a desert and paid 150 CZK - it's a steal for the centre of Prague. The prices are reasonable - there is the happy hours where all of the food is discounted. The shop's sortiment is really good, they have quite nice baked stuff. I always stop by when I walk around have a bit of craving to have a small bite to eat. As some people mentioned the food is not overpowered with spices - in Prague you have basically Country Life vs. Dhaba-Beas (which is full of spices). Choose whichever you prefer.
