Food ok but not too cheap considering the canteen like feel and look, still queues and few free seats in the rush hours GooglePlace - July 2017

Oh boy, where do I start?! It is very inexpensive, food is great and very tasty also portions are quite big! Quite big food selection too! It's located in the centre of Prague itself and is easy to find! Definitely visit if you are looking for cheap and good meals in Prague! GooglePlace - June 2017

In the heart of old town Prague where locals eat. Great and simple menu at a good price. A must eat in Prague. GooglePlace - June 2017

Cheap cafeteria style restaurant, perfect for solo travelers or those wanting to try a variety of Czech food. I tried the goulash with dumplings here as well as the Moravian “Sparrow” here are both were great! It's obviously not fine dining but the food was filling, warm, and cheap. Just a warning that the prices listed on the menu is just for the item itself (such as the goulash or moravian sparrow). The dumplings, potatoes, and rice are all extra and priced differently. My overall meal still came out to be around $4 though, so it's still very very cheap. Additionally, I had no problems ordering as the person taking my order spoke English, but as it is cafeteria style and the line moves very quickly, consider knowing what you want before you get in line. Also, keep in mind that it gets very crowded during lunch times so it's hard to find a non-standing seat if you're with a larger group. GooglePlace - June 2017

No wait to get our food at lunch but not a huge fan of the a la carte way to order a meal (gravy and potatoes/dumplings, etc are all an extra charge). No one would have a Czech meal without those things so just put it all together. In the end we paid CZK 271 for two meals without drinks. Note that it is cash only. Also they give you a piece of paper when you walk in. They gave us two but only wrote on one and we almost let our baby play with the other one. Good thing we didn't because if you don't have it when you leave they will charge you CZK 500. GooglePlace - May 2017
