This is one the cafes I have in my list and I wanted to go for a long time.
I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed.
The coffee was very well prepared and I liked that they served a warm cup with it. (It’s not that often)
I tried the pumpkin soup which was really tasty.
It’s a bit tricky to adapt to the service since the menu is in the entrance wall and you have to get up and see what they offer and then order there or at your table.
They could just have a small menu and so there is less confusion.
Next time that I will come(and this is something I plan to)it will be ok since I know the place and how they work.
But better for the cafe to adapt to the client and not the other way around.
Despite everything I totally recommend it and I will be visiting in the future.

The best little coffee in the world. Everything is delicious. If you want to make sure you have a table, make a reservation, the place is really small. But so cosy!

I rarely write negative reviews however I feel I have no choice here. We went there on a Saturday afternoon, it was busy and staff impatient and rude. We asked for two batch brews and were told that they are running low on a current batch. I said it doesn’t matter if it is a batch or a manual drip. The barista said it is much quicker to make a new batch, so why would he make a manual one instead. Well, I was just trying to be helpful. After paying and sitting down the waitress came with two cups of batch brew, she passed us 10 czech crowns back saying the coffee is not fresh. Well, it was luke warm at best. No apology at all. So you ended up paying 45 for a cup instead of 50 but the coffee is not worth that either. They serve an excellent Doubleshot coffee which really doesn’t deserve this treatment. It is a lovely place in a picturesque neighborhood but their manners are just intolerable.

Nice little cafe, very cosy and perfect for escaping the cold. We had a soup and hot chocolate and both were very nice. Staff were friendly. We would definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area

I was mistreated by the owner when I started asking about the food because they didn't have a menu in English. When I asked the second time what were the toasts available he replied by saying that he wouldn't answer me again. When I asked a suggestion of dessert he just pointed to what was available. I think he realized he was being rude and made a comment about being tired. Not impressed with the place at all. I took my family there as a surprise as I had read so many nice reviews and because it was highly recommended by a Prague Food Guide. Even the balcony that is so raved about was very simple. Unless you speak Tchek or go with locals, you should think about skipping this place.
