Tips from the Net @ La Republica

Good Czech cuisine, nice ambiance, but slightly pushy waiter in terms of asking for tips when getting tips in general is not the norm. GooglePlace - November 2017

Many items from the menu were not available. The waitress was very rude and was gossiping and making fun of the customers with her colleagues. Such a shame! GooglePlace - November 2017

Large place, you can go there even with a bigger group. On business days they have a lunch menu which is a good value for reasonable prices. Free soda with a lunch if you arrive before 12.00 GooglePlace - November 2017

Perfect for low maintenance travelers! We were very lucky to be seated at 6pm on a Friday night and snagged the last free table. Service is what you would expect in Europe- they take your order, serve your food, and leave you alone the rest of the evening which is nice. We got to hear the first few songs from a live band which was so enjoyable! The food was good, we got schnitzel and the goulash. Both were enjoyable, but don’t expect anything over the top incredible. I wouldn’t pay attention to the negative reviews on this place because it sounds like people who don’t know what is typical in Europe. Definitely a place to go to unless you have ridiculously high standards. GooglePlace - November 2017

Went here for dinner our second night in Prague. It was across from out hotel, and we were exhausted trying to think of where to eat, so we just settled here, after my husband saw the sign about serving "tank beer" - which he had quickly come to love about Prague. The atmosphere was excellent. Mostly all locals at the time we were there. Had an excellent dinner. So great we came back the next night. GooglePlace - August 2017
