Description

NO FRILLS, MORE THRILLS The pairing of inn and restaurant provides an unusual opportunity for sampling freshly prepared home-style Czech food. Beer at the restaurant is drawn under the supervision of Lukáš Svoboda, the 2010 Pilsner Urquell International Master Bartender, and served directly from the tanks in which it is brewed. RUN BY MODERN TRAVELLERS WITH MODERN TRAVELLERS IN MIND Rooms and suites that embody the boutique style offer every modern convenience and guests may expect to draw on a wide range of services. The close proximity of the Charles Bridge and the setting – the district known as Malá Strana – conspire to create the illusion of history drawing nearer. Our hotel aims to heighten this effect without compromising our devotion to 'no-frills chic'.

Excellent food and reasonable prices. We went for lunch so it wasn't too crowded but it filled up quickly. Reservations are probably necessary during dinner hours. GooglePlace - January 2018

Inexpensive beer and good sausages. Top tip: Those white yellow shavings beside the sausage are not cheese. Eating them all at once would give you watery eyes and coughing fits GooglePlace - January 2018

This is a very good pub/restaurant that serves Czech dishes. For a place near overcrowded Charles Bridge the prices are very reasonable. All staff are comfortable in several languages, you'll probably be approached in English. This pub is part of Ambiente group so you can present their loyalty card or their loyalty card is available after asking. GooglePlace - January 2018

This place is right off the Charles Bridge. They were taking reservations, and pretty full at 5p on a Sunday night, but we got a table for two. My wife ordered the raspberry soda beer, but they were out of the soda. The lemon soda beer was ok. The frankfurter variety appetizer was very good,'especially the smoked one. My wife had the roast beef with bread and potato dumplings. She didn't care much for the dumplings, but the beef and gravy were delicious. I had the fried cheese and mashed potatoes with onions. Both delicious. All that, plus two beers came to $30. An outstanding bargain. Good menu selection. Waitstaff were smiling, friendly and helpful. GooglePlace - November 2017

Decent food for a reasonable price . We had the mixed frankfurter starter and pork skewers and fried cheese for mains. The pork skewers tasted good with the beetroot side but the meat was overlooked and hence quite tough and difficult to chew. The fried cheese was a bit bland, the cheese itself didn't taste like much.. the taste came more from the dipping sauce which tasted like a sweet onion mayo sauce. Overall it's a good enough meal close to the city centre but nothing wow. GooglePlace - November 2017
