Tips from the Net @ Marthy's Kitchen

Was so excited to visit Marthy's kitchen while we spent a month in Prague but had a very big let down of an experience. Place was busy but we were fine waiting. After standing out in the cold they decided that it would make sense to take the people standing there the least amount of time, not by the order of who arrived. After waiting an hour we were finally seated. The food was pretty okay except every order of eggs benedict had overcooked eggs (not a poached egg). We waited a long time for a check and once we asked they said we have to checkout up front which would have been nice to know earlier. The women checking us out was not friendly. Basically to sum things up the food was okay but the employees were unfriendly and not great to be around. Wont go back unfortunately. GooglePlace - February 2018

Scam alert for all foreigners - this place will charge you hell for a take away (although they advertise themselves as a take away place). 45CZK (+-2 eur) for a takeaway box! I took 3 meals for my family (you know, some crepes and wafles) and paid 135CZK (6+ EUR) for 3 boxes, while crepe costs like 5 EUR. When I asked a waiter if she did some kind of mistake, she just smiled and said - we have ECO boxes. Those were regular paper boxes... Guys, an eco (bio) box costs entirely the same as a plastic one - up to 10 cents. P.S. normally, in Czechia, restaurants will charge you max 15kc for a box (+-40 cents), while the best places will not charge you anything. GooglePlace - February 2018

I ordered fish and chips and bacon. The fish barely tastes like anything. The chip is soggy and cold. The bacon is so salty it tastes more like salt than bacon. I also got a stomachache afterwards. GooglePlace - January 2018

Place is cute, small, with pretty decoration. The food is really photogenic and looks delicious which is why we went there in the first place. Service was slow, we got a Burger (Martha's Burger I think) which was pretty average and the Portobello Burger, the mushroom was very "smushy" and "watery". Not a bad experience overall but definitely didn't live up to the expectations judging from the looks and the good reviews. Wouldn't go again. GooglePlace - December 2017

We got it as a tip and had just an amazing breakfast with good coffee, fresh juices and lots of things to choose from. The best idea is to just look through the pictures here on Google and then make your choice. I can recommend the pancakes with bacon. Sound Awesome and is super tasty - if like stuff like this ;) GooglePlace - December 2017
