Moment Cafe – Vegans rejoice!
Moment Cafe – Vegans rejoice! As you might have already noticed, Czech cuisine is not the healthiest on earth. It’s great, sure, but quite meat-based and heavy. If you are a vegetarian or, lord forbid, a vegan, ... continue Prague Spotted by Locals · Blog

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! More elaborately, we had three fantastic dishes that completely stunned us: * Tofu scrambled "eggs" - basically an omelette made out of tofu. delicious. * Bagel seitan and cheese - I would describe it as a hamburger which is made out of seitan, and it's even more delicious than the omelette. The seitan really tastes like real meat and is very "meaty". Also comes with a great spicy sauce. You just wouldn't guess it's vegan. * Shawarma - the icing on the cake (a vegan cake, of course). Just a vegan shawarma which literally feels and tastes like real shawarma (this was also approved by a non-vegetarian companion). We also had some beans soup which I didn't really like, though some companions of mine disagreed. The same is regarding a piece of vegan cheese cake we had for dessert - I wasn't a fan, but some friends liked it. In a nutshell - Cafe Moment served me some of the greatest vegan food I've eaten in a long time. GooglePlace - September 2017

The food is not thought out. The feel is very dry and the taste is ok. Juices and coffee was really good. Its a good price on everything and they serve it vegan. Place is nice looking. GooglePlace - July 2017

The cafe is cozy and caters to the young, trendy - dare I say - hipster crowd. Savoury dishes and various sweet treats comprise a morning and lunch menu. I found the food to be wholesome, and healthy: do not expect a greasy spoon. The staff is friendly with at least two speaking good English. Overall, it is clear that the owners care about your custom - and rightly so, since a solitary soup, lunchtime main course, and tea will set you back the best part of 200 crowns.
