Description

Tips from the Net @ Restaurace Hybernia

The restaurant itself is very comfortable and modernly designed. The food is good but nothing really special. The beer is very good. Service is very fast and not the worst you see in Prague. What bothers me the most are the prices though, which are strongly exaggerated and therefor becomes a tourist trap. It used to be a great place to eat and grab a few beers with friends unfortunately these times are gone for good I guess.... GooglePlace - January 2018

They just have no idea how to prepare meat. It's always dry like Sahara. During lunch menu they have good prices with a loyalty card, but evenings are far too overpriced for the food quality. Beer is ok. And don't sit near the kitchen if you don't want to smell like a fried potatoes. Really they should do something about it - maybe to close the kitchen doors.. GooglePlace - December 2017

Old town Praha taste. Typical Czech cousin accompanied with good beer. Ribs was a bit too dry. GooglePlace - November 2017

Used to be a good place to eat. It seems like not anymore. I used to go there for beer and food, they have fresh Kozel dark and good cuisines. Of course I recommended this place to my customer may times. And they said the service was terrible. The other day I visited there with my friend to confirm the service and food is still okay to recommend. We ordered two glasses of Kozel dark beer, and it took them long time to bring our beer. The thing is the beer was obviously not fresh. the beer foam was already gone, left only the stain of it. I asked the waiter to change the beer, She rejected and said "We always serve fresh beer. the only way you get the new one is ordering new beer then." I was totally disappointed and sad that this place got spolied and not good as it used to be. It use to be a great place to eat.. Now we taste unbelievable cold and chewy ribs with uncooked fries, in "svičková" was missing cream otherwise very good sauce with NOT homemade dumplings - how hard is to make dumplings? Deep fried mushrooms was not crunchy - but gummy. Soup was good and hot, service quick but unfortunately very unorganized..we get soup in same time as main and the server was looking at us like that we are the one to blame. Price average and cozy place. Beer good! GooglePlace - September 2017
