Delicious traditional Chech meals and excellent beer. Cheap prices. GooglePlace - July 2017

The food was really nice, the atmosphere was cool.... However the wait staff was terrible. I've heard in Prague you get bad customer service, but this was just awful. No smiles from anyone, it seemed like we were a bother to them, and when we needed to pay the server was cussing us out (in Czech, under his breath) because we tried to make it clear that we were not all on 1 bill. We wanted to pay for 4 people's meals individually. 3 of us had cash, the other paid with a card... Apparently that was too much of a hassle. So we were trying to put our money together and he just walked away! (Hello?!? We want to just pay and get on with our vacation!!!!) but we waited (honestly we wanted to just walk out on the tab due to how incredibly rude and aggressive he was towards us.) and when he returned he continued to be rude... We eventually just paid with a card, and paid our friend back. But... Don't go to this place with a group, especially if you want to just pay individually. Absolutely the worst experience. A local pub-restaurant kind of place, they keep it simple. It's not the cheapest local food since it's still in the center. They charge 25 kuronas per each person I'm not sure why but it's written at the bottom of the menu.. otherwise the food is moderate, the beers are great but again not the cheapest. Yesterday we went there for a supper. The food was ok, we had a soup, deep fried cheese and Sopsky salad. The service was slow, salad was missing cheese on top so they brought it back and we got a new one - as we were eating the salad, we started noticing bugs in the salad. Later we were about to pay telling to waiter about bugs as he answers without any apology that it is normal for salad to have bugs. Just gross. The food is also pretty pricey for the poor quality. There is definitely better restaurants in downtown Prague. As Czech citizen I feel sorry for tourists who get ripped off here. GooglePlace - February 2017
